You can make those promises with just as much passion the second time around. Such is the regenerative power of the human heart.

I found this tulip growing in what I thought was an empty pot from last year.  I had dumped it out in the fall, and what remained was the little bit of dirt that was stuck to the bottom.  Needless to say, a tulip bulb was forgotten in there also.  This container  was thrown in the corner of the yard with other discarded pots.   Of all the beautiful tulips that are in my front yard, I found myself drawn to it and captured this shot.   I thought of the care I gave to the other ones, while this one stood as if saying, I can do this on  my own.   :)

What a touching story.  I hope you'll plant this little fellow and let him shine in all his glory with the rest of the tulips!

Excellent.  Reminds me of an entry I made earlier.  If the earth can speak in flowers, then I can listen.  :)

Oh Caroly....this is it....all by itself, requiring no attention from anyone or anything else except it own inner source (calling some might say) to bloom where it found itself.   Hello special tulip and welcome to spring time 2005.

Thank you little Tulip for your simple sweet response
that someone thought you were planted and gave it no more thought.
But when the quiet sounds of Spring did sprung, you burst your tiny head
for those that love this little bud, and you shoved your head above!
A simple reminder from Heaven that even when it seems we are doomed              something bigger and kinder never allows us to be totally lost!
So now that winter is over and your lovely face has shown
I feel that spring this year has a special meaning
to those of us that seem lost.
But not you, you made it all by yourself.
What a wonderful, welcoming thought.

This picture and the story that gows with it are wonderful...It just shows how strong nature's will is to survive. What a sign of hope, and proof that God looks out for every single living thing.

Your article is wonderful. A story about a lady who had to carry two clay pots to the river is cute also. It seems one clay pot had a leak and she only had enough water for that day. Every day she would carry the good pot and the broken chipped pot to get water  and the little chipped pot would always think it was not doing a good job... so one day the broken leaky pot asked her" why don't you throw me away?" and she answered, "I have known you were broken, little pot ,but I also knew you could contribute to something wonderful.  As I walked I would let you water the the flowers so they would bloom in the spring and I would have something for you to do and for me to look at while walking back and forth to get my water, so you see you are doing a wonderful job." The little broken pot smiled and continued to do his job...Beth
