Writing

The skill of writing is to create a context in which other people can think. Edwin Schlossberg

Sometimes I feel alone in what I write.  My thoughts are thrown together in what seems like an instant, but the context is something that has been following me as I move through this life.  My words can surprise some and question others.  Yet, they are mine to relish in.  But then also, I read other's work that moves me into another plane of thinking, broadening my mind and showing me that I am far from alone in thoughts.  We can be shaped by words from famous quoters and fellow journal writers and made aware of a different angle of thinking.  Whichever way we interpret those words, they are still there to contemplate over.  Creativity can spill out and
our world made better just by letting those skilled writers
enter our world.

Carol:
that was truly beautiful and I liked it. You are very well versed, and express yourself well. I have just started working on my journal

I agree wholeheartedly! Lifting each other up gives a deep sense of purpose, as well.

But of course, such beauty lies beyond the pen. It lies in the hand of the scribe who wields the stylus... and in the mind of this scribe.

Write on. Your words provide strength to many.

I actually didn't really want to comment.  I wanted to ask you a question.  I love all the artwork you add to each journal entry and wondered if you could tell me how you insert those pictures. I'm a bit technologically challenged and would greatly appreciate helpful pointers. If you would, my email is Omegaamor8@aol.com.  By the way, I guess I will comment. Your writing is very beautiful. It reminds me of those inspirational books, encouraging you in your daily life.  People need that. Thank you.

Our perception of a word or phrase is what brings on our own creativity. We need the words of others to build our own expressional images.
