Friendships

Depth of friendship does not depend on length of acquaintance. Radindranath Tagore

I sit here thinking of the past few weeks and the new friendship that has emerged in my life. I've always said that good friends develop when you least expect it. These recent weeks are no exception. How nice it's been to openly talk without hesitation so quickly into the newness. I don't question the timing nor the reason. I just know that it has been refreshing. :)

These types of friendship experiences are so rare...and are to be treasured when they occur.  This entry made me smile.

So true, so true, so true. Nor distance, nor time, just openess and willingness to love unconditionally.  Accept a person for who there are, right where they are, etc.

Rah bah bah!  Real life friends are not to be trusted!  Stay away from them and return to making daily entries here, on the net, where your TRUUUUUE friends are.  LOL   Just kidding.  Glad to hear you connected with someone good.  It's nice these days to make a new friend.  Have you noticed how rarely that happens as you grow older?  I miss the days of childhood when you were thrown together in some childhood experience like camp, or a new class, or a sport, and WHAMMO! instant true friendship.  Of course we played outside back then...
