My nights have always been filled with dreams, sometimes good and sometimes not so good. This dreamcatcher hangs from my lamp on my nightstand and is said to catch all those unwanted dreams. Sometimes I wonder why I am filled with so many every night. Is the subconscious what we really want in life? At times it can be most relaxing and other times they haunt me and I tend to stay awake for fear of going back to that dream. Could this just be my imagination that goes wild during the day and at night comes out in dreams? Is everyone filled with dreams also but never remembers that they have them and so they say they don't dream? Am I just a daydreamer that carries on into the night???

I have dreamcatchers...I like the story behind them. I used to remember my dreams but not so much now. I know I dream...I just don't remember my dreams anymore. I have also experienced those rare occasions when I wake up from a dream just to go back to it again and again. I enjoy dreaming be it day or night. Nice entry, Carol...gloria
I love this entry, I've been a vivid dream since I was a little boy, I used to tell stories from my dreams, many of my writings have come from dreams. I used to write of a city in the clouds that I dreamed of. My dreams over the years have become much more lucid, I've even thought about starting a dream jounal. Dreams have been a major part of my life in some big ways. I enjoy my dreams, even my scary ones are kind of fun, because I am in control of changing my dreams now when I want too.
I dream a lot too! Like you, I sometimes stay awake for fear of going back to a bad dream. I have an angel light that one of my students got me last year. When i have a really demonic or wierd dream, I turn that and some worship music on and usually fall right back to sleep with no fear!
