You're alive. Do something. The directive in life, the moral imperative was so un-
complicated. It could be expressed in single words, not complete sentences.
It sounded like this:
Look. Listen. Choose. Act.

I have always had the urge to go and do things.  I cannot fathom the thought of sitting and doing nothing for long periods of time.  Whether it's physically doing or mentally, I keep going.  I have long ago abandoned the TV except for renting movies.  Started out because I couldn't handle the channel flicking, but later because I figured I wasn't missing much.  Filling that time was easy.  There is so much out there to do and see and only one life to do it in.  Maybe that explains the short entries in my journal.  lol

So true! Life is just too short not to. You practice what you preach with your own life Carol. I like that! You inspire me! : )  Another great picture Carol. God bless!

I have many of the same thoughts on the things we do to pass our time.  I try to stay pretty busy myself.  I love your journal, it's like you bring out the riches in life, not the monetary riches but the ones in the soul.  The spirit moves in your journal.  Thanks!

Great picture, Carol.  And a great entry.  Sometimes it's difficult to get back into the business of living when you have lived in death's shadow for so long.  The mind is willing but the body is not.  Still, I try to take baby steps back into life.  Getting out once a week, for me, is an accomplishment.  I use to be on the go practically every day.  Now, the computer, my books, and some evening television have replaced my outings.  I love coming here for the sake of my soul...this journal nourishes my soul...for that I thank you.  gloria
