Passions

Make it a rule of life never to regret and never to look back. Regret is an appalling waste of energy; you can't build on it; it's only for wallowing in.

Unfolding or closing up?  For me, life definitely continues to unfold before my eyes with a newness everyday.  At times, such as lately, I seem to have way too many things that I want to do and too little time to do it.  When I look back at a journal entry that I wrote at a young age of 17, it describes a person with many passions in life.  They continue to be similar today as then, but with a more realistic touch to it.  I continue to look at the brighter side of life and enjoying each moment along the way. That kick in my step and smile on my face will keep the passions of long ago fresh in my life.
Don't ever throw away those basic needs.  :)
