Spring freshness

Spring has breathed it's energy into me and I am quickly enjoying the sites of colorful blooms throughout my neighborhood.  My morning walks have a renewed freshness to it with the blooming trees and birds singing sweetly.  I combed the nurseries yesterday and once again couldn't resist some purchases.  My main search was for different varieties of hostas for a new bed that I am working on.  Instead, I left with hydrangeas, roses, some butterfly bushes and one lonely tomato plant!  My garden plans are coming together very nicely this fourth summer here, but I don't think one can ever be done in what could be added.  At least for me anyway!  :)

I enjoyed visiting your journal very much.  You wouldn't need pictures as your words are so expressive, but I'm happy you have pictures too.  They are beautiful.  What a pleasant journal you have.

You did a great job with this photo and I like the rough manilla frame.  Very original!  Kudos to you on making the Editor's #1 pick!  ¤Holly
